A dog owner has told Your Herefordshire of her horror after her dog was attacked in a popular Hereford park.
The woman, who we have decided not to name, has reported the incident in Aylestone Park to the police, but she wished to inform the public to make them aware.
On Thursday 14th July at approximately 7.45pm, the individual was walking her Jack Russell dog in Aylestone Park, when a German Shepherd dog came over and attacked the Jack Russell. The German Shepherd was off its lead.
Unfortunately, the owners of the German Shepherd refused to accept that their dog had attacked another dog and walked away, despite there being witnesses in the area at the time.
Fortunately the Jack Russell has recovered following surgery.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference number – 00430C19072022
