Delays and cancellations to rail services between Hereford and Shrewsbury are set to continue until at least midday, due to a broken rail at Craven Arms.
A spokesperson for Network Rail said:
“A broken rail at Craven Arms is causing disruption to journeys between Shrewsbury and Hereford.
“The line from Shrewsbury towards Hereford is currently blocked. In order to reopen the line, an inspection needs to be completed, this will be carried out this morning in day light.
“Trains may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 35 minutes.
“This is expected until 12:00.”
