COVID-19 infection rates in Herefordshire remain on the rise, with the majority (over 90%) of these cases being recorded as the Delta COVID-19 variant.
Herefordshire’s infection rate did show signs of falling last week, but an increase in cases again lifted infection rate in the seven days ending 17th June up to 41 cases per 100,000 population, up from 31.6 cases per 100,000 population in the seven days ending 10th June.
The main spread of the virus appears to be in the south of the county at present with infection rates in Ross-on-Wye and the Belmont, Madley and Clehonger areas currently above 100 cases per 100,000 population.
