The Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) has been notified of a confirmed case of Covid-19 within one of its student household bubbles.

Swift action has been taken and all students from the household bubble in question are self-isolating in their residential hall.

The Herefordshire Outbreak team and Department for Education have been informed and have approved the measures in place. RNC staff will continue to work closely with them and strict safety protocols will continue to be followed, in line with local and national guidance, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the whole College community.

The students concerned will remain in isolation until advised otherwise, and their lessons will continue remotely for the duration of this period.
