Halo have provided an update on the Bromyard Centre closure following the flooding that hit the centre at the end of July.
From Halo Leisure:
Update on The Bromyard Centre Closure… Over the last few weeks since the flooding that closed the centre, we have been working with Herefordshire Council and their insurers to try to find a way to partially reopen the centre while repair works are ongoing.
It is now clear that this would not be practical and would in fact be detrimental to the overall efficient completion of the project. It is with sincere regret that we therefore announce that the Bromyard Centre will remain closed for the rest of the summer and autumn. We will provide a further update on or before Friday 15th October.
Our colleagues in Herefordshire Council are working on plans to offer a click and collect library service in Bromyard.
Don’t forget FREE use of ANY Halo Herefordshire centre for members during the temporary closure…
If you are already a member (either paying by Direct Debit or an upfront annual package) we have already amended your agreement so that you can enjoy gym, swim and group exercise classes free of charge at any Halo site in Herefordshire until we reopen.
There is nothing you need to do other than pre-book your activities and the easiest way to do this is via the Halo Leisure app and then search for the name of the Halo centre you are using.
Thank you so much for your continued support! We are doing all we can to support the work of Herefordshire Council contractors to get the building ready and look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
