Balfour Beatty have just released an update in regards to the serious collision that has occurred on the Bridge Sollars to Madley Road this morning.
The road will now be closed for the remainder of today and diversions will be in place.
Emergency services remain at the scene and at least five vehicles are reported to have been involved.
