The A465 (Belmont Road) in Hereford is currently closed whilst West Mercia Police deal with an ongoing incident.
The closure is in place between Asda and Farmfoods and motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
Traffic is already building up in the area.
West Mercia Police are currently at the scene and directing traffic.
