Around twenty people have been arrested and three police officers injured after anti-lockdown protests in central London.
At least two people were arrested in Trafalgar Square, while there was also disruption on Westminster Bridge.
The protests were various locations across central London police commander Ade Adelekan said.
Organisers did not take “reasonable steps to keep protesters safe” and therefore “voided their risk assessment”, Mr Adelekan said.
“One demonstration in particular attracted a large number of protesters and I became increasingly concerned that those in the crowd were not maintaining social distancing,” he added.
