Aldi have ambitious plans to open new stores across the United Kingdom, with the company looking at a number of possible opportunities.

A statement on the Aldi website says:

“We have an ambitious property investment and development programme across South Wales and the South West and we need your help to find new commercial sites.

“We prefer to purchase freehold, town centre or edge of centre sites suitable for property development in towns with a population of 15,000 or more. We are willing to explore all opportunities including developer led schemes and existing or new retail units. Our yield profile is increasingly adding value to developments.”

Included on the list is Hereford. Aldi already have a store in Hereford, but with it becoming ever popular, the potential for a second store, or a larger store, appear to be high on the agenda for the company.
