Emergency services were called to a collision involving a lorry and a car in Herefordshire on Wednesday evening.
The collision occurred on the A4137 at Glewstone and the road remained closed for a number of hours.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and the Air Ambulance were all in attendance at the incident.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Five Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – from Ross-on-Wye, Whitchurch, Hereford, Droitwich and Leominster Fire Stations – were called at 18:27 on 19 April to an RTC at Glewstone, near Ross-on-Wye.
“The incident involved a lorry and a car which was on its roof.
“A teenage male casualty had been extricated from a vehicle before the arrival of the fire service and a female teenage casualty was still in the vehicle.
“The teenage female casualty was handed over to the air ambulance service to be transported to hospital while the male casualty was handed over to the ambulance service,who attended along with police.
“The road was closed in both directions by the police.”
