On Saturday evening, a number of reports were made by local residents that had seen the Midlands Air Ambulance land in a field close to Kings Acre Road in Hereford.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called to reports of a medical emergency at a private address on Carroll Avenue at 7.40pm on Saturday. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who following treatment at the scene was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham by land ambulance.”
