A nursery in Herefordshire will re-open on Monday following a week long closure due to COVID-19.

The nursery at Brockhampton Primary Academy was forced to close earlier this week but plans to re-open on Monday 27th September.

Here is a copy of the letter that was sent to parents earlier this week:

Following the text message sent earlier today, I am writing to clarify and confirm arrangements for our Nursery children.

Unfortunately, a member of our Nursery team has received a confirmed positive PCR test result for Covid 19 today.

Both her Nursery colleagues have received an NHS Track and Trace alert requiring them to self-isolate and so the decision has had to be made to close Nursery from Monday 20th until their period of self-isolation ends, as we are unable to staff the setting with suitably trained and qualified EYFS staff from elsewhere in the school.

I am sorry for the disruption this will undoubtedly cause. Nursery will re-open on Monday 27th.

Staff are currently preparing an on-line remote learning provision (similar to that which took place in previous closures) details of which will be with you tomorrow evening at the latest, ready to start on Tuesday 21st. If you
require any devices to access this provision, please contact the school office and we will provide you with whatever you need.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch at any time if you have any questions or queries:
