A mother has been left stunned after her son discovered a machete in the River Wye in Hereford earlier today.
Lucy and her son were next to the Victoria Bridge when her 11-year-old son Logan discovered the machete in the water.
Lucy said her 11-year-old son likes to collect metal and rubbish from the river because he wants to keep the river safe for both animals and people. Logan is constantly saying about how much he wants to do more to help the river. However, the last thing she expected him to find was an item like a machete.
The incident has been reported to the police who have retrieved the item.
