A boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling from his bike in Hereford this morning.

The incident occurred on Kings Acre Road at around 8am.

The road was partially blocked but is now clear.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called to reports of a patient who had fallen from their bicycle on Kings Acre Road at 8.05am. 

“One ambulance attended the scene. Two off-duty medical technicians and a military doctor also stopped to assist at the scene. 

“We treated one patient, a boy, for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, before he was taken to Hereford County Hospital.”
