Emergency services are responding to a collision on a busy route in a Herefordshire village this morning.

The collision has occurred on the B4349 in Kingstone.

The road is currently blocked.

West Mercia Police officers are at the scene of the incident.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:

“Officers are currently in Kingstone on the B4349 following a report received at 9am this morning (9 October) of a road traffic collision. 

“The collision was between a pedestrian and car. 

“Officers will remain at the scene to establish the circumstances and manage traffic.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian on the B4349 at 8.45am, one ambulance attended the scene.

“On arrival we discovered one patient, the pedestrian, who was a boy.

“He was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Hereford County Hospital.”

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
