An £80,000 Gym and Sports Hall upgrade is underway at Hereford Leisure Pool, Halo have confirmed.
The news was confirmed in a post on Facebook that said:
“Our new year’s resolution is to give you the best workout experience we can – and that starts with a £80,000 gym & sports hall upgrade at Hereford Leisure Centre.
“Work will be starting today 19th January 2023. We will be giving the gym a make-over & creating a NEW strength and conditioning zone! When we’re finished you will have a larger, fresher space to work out and wind down in.
“The enhancement to the facilities doesn’t stop you being able to use the gym & sports hall, we will be open as normal while the builders carry on and work around you.
“On Thursday 19th & Friday 20th January 2023: Mirrors are being removed in the gym.
A new entrance is being created for access to the new strength and conditioning area: this area will have mirrors, free weights, NEW tyre flip, benches & stretching area.
“On 25th January – 27th January 2023:
New flooring will be installed in the new strength and conditioning zone.
“On 30th January – 2nd February: New sports hall curtains and rebound boards being fitted. During this time sports hall bookings may be limited so please give us a call and book in advance to avoid disappointment.
“Keep up to date with the refurbishment works and progress images on our social media.”
