Members of the public contacted Your Herefordshire following an online sting operation by Elite Team. A video was broadcast live on Facebook and we have since contacted West Mercia Police for comment.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police this morning told Your Herefordshire:
âA 55-year-old man from Herefordshire has been arrested on suspicion of attempted causing or inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity. He has been released under investigation.â
It is unconfirmed as to whether this arrest was in connection with the sting, but we will continue to keep you updated with any developments on this.
