Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a pedestrian died following a serious collision in Bromfield, Shropshire.
Our officers were called to the A49, near to the A4113 junction, at around 1.30pm on Saturday 11 July following a report of a collision involving an orange Renault Arkana and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was treated by paramedics at the scene but sadly died from her injuries. Our thoughts remain with her loved ones at this difficult time.
A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released under investigation.
