There is travel chaos this afternoon for many commuters, with rail services currently suspended between Hereford and Worcester, after a vehicle collided with a bridge near Ledbury.
West Midlands Railway explained that they are currently waiting for a structural engineer to arrive at the scene of the incident, to assess the safety of the bridge, before the line can be reopened.
In a recent update, National Rail said:
A road vehicle colliding with a bridge in the Ledbury area is causing disruption to journeys between Hereford and Great Malvern. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 16:00.
