Flood levels are set to peak on the River Wye in Hereford this afternoon, but further flooding is likely with heavy rain forecast on Thursday and Friday.
Levels on the Wye are set to peak between 3.5-4 metres in Hereford, after peaking slightly higher than predicted at Hay-on-Wye early this morning.
Some riverside paths are likely to temporarily flood, but no major travel disruption is expected at this stage.
A flood alert is on force on the River Wye in Herefordshire, with more rain expected from tomorrow.
A separate flood alert is on force on the River Lugg, south of Leominster. Flooding is possible between Leominster and Lugwardine / Hampton Bishop, but no major issues are expected.
