Search and Rescue Teams were called to the River Wye in Hereford overnight to search for a missing person.
West Mercia Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews were both called to Greyfriars Avenue following reports that a person was missing.
A search of the river then took place.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:
“The Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service boat crew from Hereford Fire Station plus the service drone from Ledbury and the urban search and rescue dog were called at 04:16 on 3 June to Greyfriars Avenue in Hereford to assist police in the search for a missing person.
“No-one was found and the incident was left with police.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 06:48.”
