A lockdown will be introduced in Scotland from tomorrow, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced this afternoon.
The first minister told the Scottish Parliament there will be a legal requirement for people to stay at home for the rest of January and that this could be extended if the situation doesn’t improve.
The news will see pressure increase on Prime Minister Boris Johnson to impose similar restrictions in England.
