A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Malvern.
Officers were called to Belle Vue Terrace around 12.45am this morning (Saturday 12 July) following a report of an altercation.
When officers arrived a 52-year-old man was found unconscious on the floor and was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, and he was sadly pronounced deceased.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and assault.
Both remain in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Lee Holehouse said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has sadly lost his life.
“This incident will no doubt concern the local community, and we can say that this is an isolated incident, and we have arrested two people who remain in our custody.
“Officers will remain at the scene, and you will see an increased police presence over the next few days as our investigation continues.
“I am appealing to anyone who has any information that could be crucial to our investigation into the loss of a life.
“This includes any phone footage that may have captured the incident along with dashcam, doorbell and CCTV from around the time it happened”.
