Emergency services are continuing searches along the River Taff near Treharris (near Merthyr Tydfil) after a report of a body being seen in the river.
The call was received yesterday (Tuesday November 4) around 9:30pm.
Chief Inspector Dan Howe said: “Searches are being conducted by South Wales Police with the assistance of the National Police Air Service (NPAS), HM Coastguard and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service however so far no body has been located.
“Searches are still ongoing, and we urge anyone with any information to contact us quoting reference 2500352357.”
