A police cordon is in place on a path next to the River Wye in Hereford this morning.
A cordon is in place on the path near Golden Post, in the Hunderton / Belmont area of Hereford this morning.
It is understood that officers were called to reports of an incident overnight / early this morning. Police have since confirmed that a body was recovered by officers.
West Mercia Police officers remain in the area.
The main footpath remains open.
