An 11-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital this morning following a collision in Herefordshire.

The collision occurred on Winslow Road in Bromyard.

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to the incident. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:

“We are currently on scene of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Winslow Road in Bromyard, Herefordshire. 

“An 11-year-old boy has been air lifted to hospital with serious injuries which aren’t believed to be life threatening. 

“The road remains closed.”
