NHS England is hoping to invite everyone aged 18 and above to book their Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine by the end of this week.
The push to get more people vaccinated comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a four week delay to the further relaxation of restrictions in England due to concerns over the spread of the Delta variant across parts of the country.
NHS England Chief Executive Sir Simon Stevens said that the NHS will use the next few weeks to get as many people vaccinated as possible before the planned full reopening of society on the 19th July.
