Emergency services are responding to an incident near the River Wye in Hereford this evening.
West Mercia Police officers temporarily stopped traffic on the A49 (Greyfriars Bridge).
There have also been officers on the Old Bridge.
West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics have also been seen in the area.
Both bridges remain open to traffic, as well as pedestrians and cyclists at present.
