There is disruption between Hereford and Birmingham New Street this evening, after a train ‘hit an object’.
From National Rail:
“A train has hit an obstruction on the line between Worcester Foregate Street / Worcester Shrub Hill and Bromsgrove / Kidderminster, closing all lines running between these stations.
“This means that trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 40 minutes.
“This incident is expected to continue to impact services until 23:00.”

Between Hereford / Worcester Foregate Street / Worcester Shrub Hill and Birmingham New Street, between Worcester Foregate Street / Worcester Shrub Hill and Dorridge / Stratford-upon-Avon, between Worcester Shrub Hill and Leamington Spa, and also between Worcester Foregate Street and Birmingham Snow Hill.
