The COVID-19 infection rate in one part of South Wye is continuing to rise sharply. Infection rates in many parts of Hereford are increasing but the good news is that the rate of infection in some other areas of the county is slowing.
The most concerning aspect for Herefordshire Council and Health Officials is that the COVID-19 infection rate in Hereford South, which includes the Redhill, Hinton and Putson areas of the city, is now at 531.8 cases per 100,000 population, after 52 new cases of the virus were recorded in the week ending 13th November.
