Armed Forces Day takes place on Saturday 25 June 2022.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up the armed forces community – from serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.
Armed Forces Day celebrations begin on Monday 20 June when the Armed Forces Day flag is raised around the country. The Herefordshire County Flag Raising Ceremony will be held in High Town Hereford at 11am. There will be similar events in Ross on Wye, Ledbury and Leominster (times to be confirmed).
On Saturday 25 June the Herefordshire Armed Forces Day celebrations will be held in Ross on Wye.
Ross-on-Wye is the official host for the 2022 Herefordshire Armed Forces Day events following the postponment in 2021 due to the global pandemic.
This is our chance to show public support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There will be a variety of entertainment on the Rope Walk by the riverside, with live music, demonstrations, food and drink. Full programme to be confirmed nearer the time.
