The organisers of the annual Kington Fireworks show have confirmed that this year’s event will take place on Saturday 29th October and fireworks will be coloured red, white and blue in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

A post from the organisers on Facebook said:

“Well, it’s been quite a year and Autumn is closing in fast! Due to November 5th landing on a very busy Saturday this year we have decided to move the Kington fireworks display to Saturday 29th October.

“As a tribute to our Queen, there will be red, white and blue in the display.

“With fireworks from Europe and the Far East and quality Japanese shells for a finale! This year will be even better than last year!!

“Huge thanks to our main sponsor Niteforce Fireworks, we couldn’t do it without you guys!!

“Please get in touch if your company would be willing to sponsor the event to keep it going and help us raise more money for charity!”
