The incredible Herefordshire community has raised over £40,000 to support a much loved member of the community with his battle with a brain tumour.
Wayne Tizzard had set a target of £40,000, but due to the community coming together, that has already been exceeded with the total continuing to rise. Every penny will help Wayne immensely.
One person who wishes to remain anonymous donated an incredible £10,000. There are hundreds of messages on the GoFundMe page wishing Wayne the best, from family and friends and even complete strangers.
Wayne requires urgent treatment due to a brain tumour and local residents have stepped forward to raise money, with a charity football match planned for Sunday 17th April and Bromyard Town Football Club.
The two teams made up of local players, who will be competing in a 90 minute football match to help raise money for Wayne’s urgent treatment.
Straight after the match, the organisers will be holding an auction on the pitch with plenty of fantastic prizes, with all proceeds going towards this amazing cause.
