Hereford has some wonderful community groups and over the past couple of years the Hereford Community Clean Up Group and Hereford Community Recycling and Reuse Group have been working hard to improve the flower beds and plants at Hereford Railway Station.
The work has really made a difference and is still continuing to this day. Andrew Wood from the Hereford Community Recycling and Reuse Group posted the following message on Facebook yesterday.
Andrew said:
“After 6 months we are back looking after the flower beds at Hereford Railway Statio. This morning Anne Elizabeth Jones and myself spent an hour or so clearing some of the weeds and over the coming weeks we will be doing more.
“I’ve put together a new gardening team and will introduce you to them next weekend. All the planting we did a couple of years ago is now well established and once we have cleared the weeds the beds will provide a lovely welcome to people coming to Hereford.
“If you would like to join the gardening team please let me know.”
