A charity in Hereford has launched a new campaign for anyone feeling the effects of Blue Monday.
Today, the third Monday in January, is considered by many to be the most depressing day of the year and so The Little Princess Trust has launched ‘Funky Hair Funday’ to help banish the winter blues.
A Funky Hair Funday is an event for anyone to style their hair or head in the most imaginative way possible while supporting the work of The Little Princess Trust.
The Hereford charity provides wigs for children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and already receives great support from those who donate their hair to help them provide this service.
However, the charity is aware that many people are unable to donate long lengths of hair and created this fun event so that anyone can take part – no matter their hair length.
Funky Hair Funday is perfect for schools, businesses or even friends to come together in a fun way to help a great cause.
LPT volunteers Di Butler and Jayne Broome have been busy with Logistics Assistant Donna Clarke, pictured above, making up Funky Hair Funday fundraising packs this week.
They can now be ordered from The Little Princess Trust’s website to help anyone planning a Funky Hair Funday of their own. Visit https://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/fundraising/funky-hair-funday to request a free pack today.
