“I’m Karen and I run Caption Catering.
“I set up business just before lockdown 2020, so things didn’t go quite as I had planned, however it was the best thing that could have happened and my Afternoon Tea boxes took off better than I could ever have hoped for & helped me develop my reputation.
“Since then, I’ve been kept pretty busy with teas, cakes, cupcake bouquets, corporate lunches, weddings, funerals and parties.
“It’s only me (with the odd bit of help from my lovely mum, partner, kids, friends & fab uncle on the big party days).
“I develop all my menus & dishes, bake it all fresh, make it look beautiful and add a sprinkle of glitter! (my favourite bit)
“I still work from my little home kitchen, which is fully registered and insured and has a five star hygiene rating.
“So if you’re looking for delicious, freshly baked, home cooked food with a touch of sparkle, you’re in the right place.
