The 85 mile route takes us from Glasbury – Redbrook and includes a section of rapids. We will camping overnight and aiming to do 24 miles in the first day, 26 miles on the second and 36 miles for the third day.
It’ll be a tough challenge but it’s something we are all desperate to complete.
We will be raising money for Cancer Research. Its for a cause that is very important to us and you don’t need us to tell you that the stats and risk’s of Cancer are pretty shocking. All of our group know people close to us directly affected by Cancer. With Covid 19, the funding to Cancer Medical Services has taken a massive hit and is under resourced so we are hoping to raise as much as we can to help out.
So please help us get to our target and donate what you can, no matter how big or small. Thanks a lot.
Massive thanks to Dario and iPhone repair specialists Mousetech who have sponsored us again for the third year running.
Also thanks to Josh at Celtic Canoes for all the advice and being so accommodating with supplying the canoes for the challenge. Anyone looking for a day out canoeing on the Wye, we couldn’t recommend these guys enough!
Thank you also to Wester Ross Fisheries supplier of premium quality Scottish salmon for their big donation and for sponsoring us for this challenge!
