Comedian Rob Brydon has delivered a special message to a patient at St Michael’s Hospice.
After hearing through Health Care Assistant Poppy that Pat Lennon is a huge fan of the comedian’s work, staff at the Hospice in Bartestree contacted the Welsh comic to see whether there was anything that could be done to put the pair in touch.
To Pat’s surprise and delight, Rob took time out of his busy schedule to send Pat a personal video message which included a joke which has featured in his latest stand-up tour.
‘I’m very grateful that a well-known comedian has taken the time to communicate with me,’ said Pat.
‘It made my day.’
