For many of us, a stroll up Pen y Fan is enough for one day, let alone taking on the three highest peaks in Wales!
This 24 hour event will see 11 men take on their biggest challenge of their lives. In just one day, they will be walking up and down the three highest peaks in Wales; Snowdon, Cadair Idris & Pen-Y-Fan. A very difficult challenge perhaps for those who are fit but an extremely difficult challenge for a group of lads, who are more used to climbing blood pressures than climbing mountains and more use to downing pints than downing peaks.
The walk is not only about setting themselves a challenge but also to help with fitness levels, mental health and to raise a huge amount for St. Michaels Hospice, who do amazing things in the county. The Hospice has also touched the lives of many of those that will be taking part in the challenge. With family members and friends having end of life care with them.
The team would really appreciate any type of donation no matter the amount. It’s for a great cause and every little bit donated will make such a difference.
