Luctonians Sports Club are to host their Second Sundogs Festival at the Mortimer Park venue at Kingsland, Nr Leominster over the weekend of 22nd-24th June.
With Live Music, Sport and a Beer Festival to enjoy over the 3 days it promises to be a must visit event for many to enjoy.
The fun starts from 4pm on Friday when the campsite opens for those taking advantage of the full weekend event. There’ll be a social game of rounders and a Pre-Battle Party kicking off the activities for the keen-beans on Friday evening before the festival begins proper at 10am on Saturday morning, with a mixed bag of sporting events including Rugby 7’s Tournaments, Ladies Touch Rugby and Ladies Hockey to enjoy throughout the day.
But it’s not all about the Sport… many local breweries will be present providing a wide variety of their delightful ales and ciders for all to enjoy. If you enjoy a bit of a local tipple there will be a little something for everyone when the bar opens at 11am.
The “Luctonian Breakfast” is available from 8am for those early birds; and burgers, chicken and veggie options will be available throughout the day from the Burger Bar.
The revelry continues into the evening, with the live music starting at 4pm to crown the amazing community weekend from West Midlands Community Club of the Year 2018. Enjoy the sounds of Call of the Kraken, The Rogues and Pigdaze among many other fantastic local bands until the early hours.
