A man from Hereford will take part in a five day trek to raise money for Sands, a charity that helps anyone affected by the death of a baby.
Thomas Manuschka from Hereford will be embarking on a 5 day solo trek with 2 days on the Brecon Beacons and a 3 day allocated timeframe to walk, yes, walk back to Hereford.
The trek will commence as of 21/02/2022 and end on 25/02/2022.
Thomas said:
“I will be raising money for the absolutely outstanding organisation called Sands who work to support anyone affected by the death of a baby; improve the care bereaved parents receive; and create a world where fewer babies die.
“This particular organisation is one close to the hearts of my family as my eldest sister experienced the truly heart wrenching turmoil of having to give birth to her deceased daughter Ellie back in October 2006.
“To any parent who is reading this I know for a fact this is your worst nightmare and any support towards this phenomenal organisation will be greatly appreciated.
“I thank you all in advance for your interest and do hope this can be shared as far and as wide as we can take it.”
