Ultrafilter Medical – the Ross-on-Wye manufacturer of Type IIR medical facemasks – has pledged £2000 to the recently launched Help for Refugees Appeal, organised by the Herefordshire Community Foundation, that’s committed to raising funds for the 2.5 million people who have recently fled Ukraine.
Money received by the Help for Refugees Appeal will be used to fund the transport of essential goods from Herefordshire to where they are needed with any residual money going towards the resettlement of refugees from Ukraine within Herefordshire.
Dean Kronsbein, founder and chairman of Ultrafilter Medical and owner of Ultrafilter Group, said, “Like most people, I have been extremely moved by recent global events. The humanitarian crisis that is unfolding in front of our eyes is deeply concerning and I wanted to do whatever I could. The Help for Refugees Appeal is a great way for local people to donate much needed funds securely and with the confidence that all their money will get to precisely where it’s needed.”
It is hoped that the pledge from Ultrafilter Medical will encourage more people to donate to the Help for Refugees Appeal and in turn support the men, women, children, families and communities who have all been deeply impacted by war.
