Golden Valley Meat & Game have done it again. Winning Overall Supreme Champion of All Meat Hampers at The Royal Welsh Winter Fair 2023, this week.
This is the 4th time GVMG have been awarded this prestigious award.
This year, the meat hamper competitions were judged by:
Mr Harry Feathersonhough OBE, FRAgS, Coed Coch, Conwy who awarded GVMG overall Supreme Champion of all meat hampers in Wales against strong competition from butchers from across Wales and the border counties.

Golden Valley Meat and Game has been serving the public, retail and catering industry for over 30 years, supplying the highest quality meat, poultry and game locally sourced in Monmouthshire & Herefordshire.
It is a family business in the grounds of the family home with a fully equipped butcher’s facility in the village of Grosmont, on the border between Monmouthshire and Herefordshire.
In 2014 Adrian was awarded the prestigious award of Accredited Master Butcher by the Meat Training Council, London.
To be awarded Accredited Master Butcher, unique skills under strict guidelines and criteria issued by the Institute of Meat must be proven.
This is the highest accolade a butcher can achieve and is something that we are very proud of.
This is very different to the term Master Butcher, which is simply a self-accreditation.
