The Courtyard are delighted to be hosting a series of Free Food For Families events for families who are struggling to make ends meet. 

With thanks to Talk Community Hub’s Winter of Wellbeing fund, The Courtyard are offering families the opportunity to enjoy a free hot buffet meal and fun arts activities from 11.30amon Saturday 9, Sunday 17, Saturday 23 and Saturday 30 December.

This is the second time the arts venue has offered this initiative, with over 150 people attending them in March 2023. 

The Courtyard, also a Warm Space, became a Talk Community Hub in 2020.

A Talk Community Hub is a place where local people can access information and activities to support their wellbeing and independence.

It offers a platform to bring together and connect people to each other, to their community and to their local area.

The Courtyard’s Talk Community Hub is part of a network of hubs across Herefordshire run by the community for the community.

This Christmas, The Courtyard are hosting several affordable events for families, as well as Food For Families.

The venue’s award-winning pantomime, which is Dick Whittington (1 Dec – 6 Jan) this year, has tickets starting from just £10. The Children’s Christmas Show, Goldilocks (9 – 24 Dec), starts from £9.

The Courtyard’s Cinema offering, sees tickets available from just £3 for children under 14 with a free Courtyard Club Membership.

Festive film choices include Wonka (PG) (22 Dec – 13 Jan), Wish (U) (26 Dec – 6 Jan), Polar Express (U) (11 & 19 Dec) and The Muppet Christmas Carol (U) (18 – 21 Dec).
