Herefordshire Council & Hereford City Council back Hereford BID ahead of ballot.
Both Herefordshire Council and Hereford City Council have committed their support to Hereford BID ahead of a ballot that will decide if the Business Improvement District, in which business in the BID zone pay a levy to be a part of, gets voted in for a further five years.
Deputy Mayor Paul Stevens confirmed the news at a presentation of BID 2 plans this evening at Cafe @ All Saints.
Mike Truelove (Operations Manager at Hereford BID) outlined the plans for the next five years if the ballot is successful. These include:
- A loyalty app for the city
- More events
- Professional marketing
- More flowers
- Fill empty units
- Louder voice for business
- More networking
Businesses such as Pritchards, Tesco and Harrison Clark Rickerbys all commented to say how they think the BID has helped them over the last five years.
