Originally a 16th-Century coaching inn, The New Inn celebrates the rich farming heritage of rural Herefordshire. 

The menu is inspired by local flavours, using seasonal ingredients from local producers. 

Inside, the pub exudes warmth, with roaring fires, cosy booths and lots of original features, creating a stylish yet relaxed environment.

The menu is constantly changing reflecting the best the day, week, season has to offer. 

Under the management of award-winning chef Michael Fowler, you can expect to taste and enjoy the best of Herefordshire and beyond. 

The dining room is open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. During the summer months the beer garden is the perfect setting for relaxed dining where you will be served fresh food straight from the grill.

Michael’s culinary journey began working in luxury hotels and highly acclaimed restaurants in the UK and beyond with Michelin-starred chefs. 

Most recently Michael worked in partnership with Chris Oakley, one of the first British Chefs to be awarded, Michelin-star status at his restaurant.

With a love of Herefordshire Michael has run award-winning venues across the county and along with his team who have joined him at the New Inn, he is very excited to bring you an exceptional dining experience.

With a strong emphasis on local produce, diners can expect stunning dishes that follow the seasons with vibrant colours, textures and flavours.

There are also rooms available at The New Inn. 

Each room is different and has a unique character, but all pair the historical features of this former coaching inn with a touch of luxury from the comfiest mattresses, fine linen sheets and luxury bathrooms. 

In addition to a smart TV and hot drink facilities, you’ll find cosy robes, complimentary WIFI and a hairdryer to complete your stay.

Rooms are based on double occupancy and breakfast is not included.
