A Hereford drug dealer has been sentenced to two and half years for supplying class A drugs into the county
From West Mercia Police:
Samuel Hall, 33, of Graftonbury Court, Grafton Lane, Grafton, Hereford, appeared before Worcester Crown Court on Friday (28 February).
Hall was convicted of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of a class A drug – cocaine, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug – cannabis, and possession of criminal property.
He was sentenced to a total of 30 months (two and a half years) imprisonment, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187 and to forfeit £1,580 in cash.
Detective Constable Kyle Hopkins, of Hereford CID, said the investigation began when Samuel Hall was stopped while travelling from Newport, South Wales dealing drugs into Herefordshire in January 2023.
In 2024, it became apparent Hall had continued to supply controlled drugs in Hereford and was re-arrested before being charged on 3 December and appearing at court on Friday.
DC Hopkins said: “The misery of drugs is well known, and it devastates lives daily, so I welcome this custodial sentence which recognises the severity of the offences.
“West Mercia Police will relentlessly pursue those who deal drugs, regardless of where they operate, and will always seek to prosecute those who cause harm to the local community.”
