Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a woman being run over outside the Hare and Hounds pub in Kidderminster on Saturday night (Saturday 1 March).
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident which involved a grey Audi A4 striking a woman in the car park of the pub on Stourbridge Road at around 5.15pm.
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident and remains in police custody.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, sustained serious leg injuries and remains in hospital.
Detective Sergeant Craig Tennant, of North Worcestershire CID, said: “This was a concerning incident which resulted in a woman sustaining significant injuries to her legs.
“We have arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of attempted murder.
“We know there were a number of people around at this time and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and share that information with me at craig.tennant@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident 323i of 1 March.”
