Police have blocked off a major route near Hereford this morning.
The A438 is closed in both directions between Lugwardine and Hereford.
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service are at the scene. The closure is near the River Lugg bridge.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are also on the Lugg Flats.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
Anyone wishing to access Lugwardine or Bartestree from Hereford is advised to use the A4103 and then access the A438 via Whitestone.
