A Hereford drug dealer has been jailed after he was caught with cocaine and heroin.
William Harmon, 36, from Monkhide Village Road in Monkhide, appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Friday 10 November where he was sentenced to two years and three months for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
On 12 July, Harmon failed to stop for police officers which resulted in a pursuit for several miles, involving him driving his vehicle at high speeds on narrow country roads.
The vehicle eventually collided head on with an HGV travelling in the opposite direction. Officers arrested Harmon and a large quantity of cocaine and heroin was found in his car.
Detective Sergeant James Moore from Herefordshire Priorities Team said: āDrug dealers take advantage of vulnerable people and ruin lives, and we are determined to protect our communities.
“I hope this sentence will give a clear message to anyone who is involved in drugs that will do all we can to stop them.
“If you have any concerns about drug crime, I urge you to contact us because working alongside our communities is a major part of tackling drug crimeā.
